Manage or cancel
Open the link in your order receipt to update your card, download invoices or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then the free plan applies. Nothing is deleted.
Help
A step-by-step guide to unlocking Pro, the answers to the problems people run into, and how to reach us when those are not enough.
Five steps, about a minute.
You only do this once per browser.
After you pay, Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, sends the license key by email and shows it on your receipt.
It is a long code made of letters, numbers and dashes.
Lost the email?
Open the link in your receipt, or your orders on Lemon Squeezy with the email you used to buy.
The key is on the order.
Add it from the Chrome Web Store (the listing is coming soon).
Then pin it from the puzzle-piece menu in the toolbar so its icon is always at hand.
Click the Release Tracker icon in the toolbar and then the gear.
You can also open the dashboard and use its gear, or right-click the icon and choose Options.
In the menu on the left, choose License.
Paste the key into the box and press Activate.
The first time, Chrome asks you to allow access to api.lemonsqueezy.com: click Allow.
The extension needs it to register this browser with your license.
Only the key and a short name for this browser are sent.
Nothing about your services, AWS or GitHub leaves your browser.
The Plan badge on the same screen turns to Pro, and the table shows a tick on every feature.
A line tells how many activations of your license are in use.
The box where you pasted the key now shows the key in short form, with Activated, Verify again and Remove.
The links, the next release details, notifications and history are now unlocked.
Find the message you see in the License screen, or the situation you are in.
Paste the whole key, with no spaces before or after, and no quotes. If you have a Pro key and still see this, check that you are using the key of this product, then write to us with your order number.
Each license works on a limited number of browser profiles: 1, 3, 5 or 10, depending on the plan. Every browser, reinstall or new Chrome profile takes one activation.
To free one, open Settings then License in a browser you no longer use, press Remove and confirm. If that browser is gone, free the activation from your order on Lemon Squeezy, or write to us and we will do it.
The activation of this browser was freed, from another place or by us. Paste the key and press Activate again.
A subscription license expires when the subscription ends. Renew it from the link in your receipt, then press Verify again in Settings, License. You do not need to paste the key again.
A license is disabled when its order is refunded or when it was misused. If you did not expect this, write to us with your order number.
Only keys sold for Release Tracker Pro unlock it. A key from any other product on Lemon Squeezy is refused.
Press Activate (or Verify again) again and click Allow when Chrome asks about api.lemonsqueezy.com. On a computer managed by your company, an administrator may block that permission: ask them to allow it for the extension.
Check your connection, and your VPN or company proxy. Some security gateways block api.lemonsqueezy.com: ask your IT team to allow it.
You do not lose Pro right away. The extension asks again every few days, and keeps Pro unlocked for 14 days after the last answer it got.
Fourteen days went by without an answer from Lemon Squeezy (the browser was offline, or the service was blocked). Reconnect and press Verify again: Pro comes back as soon as the answer arrives.
A new installation counts as a new browser. Before you leave the old one, press Remove in License and confirm, to free its activation, then activate the new one. If you cannot reach the old browser, free it from your order or write to us.
The License tab is in the latest versions. Chrome updates extensions by itself; to update now, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode and press Update.
Lemon Squeezy processes the payments as our merchant of record: it collects the taxes and keeps your invoices.
Open the link in your order receipt to update your card, download invoices or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then the free plan applies. Nothing is deleted.
If Pro is not for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and you get all of it back. The refund policy has the details, including renewals.
As many as your plan includes: 1, 3, 5 or 10. A browser profile counts as one activation, and you can move a license by removing it from one browser and activating it on another.
Everything in Pro, with no key and no card. When the trial ends the dashboard stays free, and the links, the next release details, notifications and history are part of Pro. Your configuration stays exportable at any time.
Yes. The extension checks your license with Lemon Squeezy every few days, and trusts the last answer for 14 days when it cannot connect. The dashboard itself never depends on it.
The license key and a short name for the browser, such as “Chrome on MacIntel”, and only to Lemon Squeezy. The privacy policy has the details. There is no account or analytics inside the extension.
Yes, with a multi-activation plan: each person pastes the same key in their own browser. Every browser profile counts toward the key’s limit.
The key is on your order at Lemon Squeezy, and in the receipt email. If you cannot find it, write to us with the email you used to buy and the order number if you have it.
That is not about the license. The steps to connect GitHub and AWS are in the getting started guide, and the Settings screens explain each field. For anything else, write to us.
